Week 13 DFS Darlings

QB:

Jared Goff- Jared Goff? More like Jared Goff with your head because he and the Rams absolutely TORCH the Cardinals. In three of their past four games they have thrown for over 300 hundred yards and have thrown 2 touchdowns in the past two. Not to mention they just lost to a division foe who doesn’t have half of their team (Goff being a part of the reason they lost). I think the Rams and Goff will be out for blood and if he throws the football less than 40 times I will be shocked. Goff would be a great stack with either Woods (below) or Reynolds (if you’re looking deeper).

RB:

David Montgomery- Montgomery put together one of the few bright spots in their Sunday night beating given to them via Green Bay. With him and Trubisky coming back it seems they would rather control the game with Montgomery instead of letting Mitch cook. The Lions are out a head coach and nearly out of hope. With the Bears trying to hold on to a playoff berth I expect them to pound the Lions often with their Monty. The Lions are limping into this game toting the league’s 28th rushing defense. In their first meeting Montogmery and Cohen combined for 105 rushing yards, Montgomery will have no problem taking all of that.

Myles Gaskin- By the end of the week we will be calling him Carol Gaskin because he is going to be taking over as THE Tiger King. A team struggling to keep it together after losing the number 1 overall pick has also been getting gashed for nearly five yards a carry this year. Not to mention the Dolphins are struggling with a quarterback controversy of their own, they will heavily lean on their running game and defense.

WR:

Robert Woods- Good old reliable Bobby Trees. In the past two games the Rams are making it a point to get Woods involved. He has garnered 32 targets total in the Ram’s last 3 games combined. This is what he does, flies under the radar and consistently gets you solid fantasy weeks. Also, like most fantasy drafts this year, Woods is a cheaper option than teammate Cooper Kupp. Much of my bullishness on Woods can be found in my Goff write up above.

Mike Williams- Luckily, during a totally brand new way of running a QB sneak Justin Herbert walked away uninjured. He will be back under center as the Chargers take on New England. This is not the same New England team as last year as they have actually gotten beat pretty bad by teams #2 receivers (Gillmore is still Gillmore). Enter big bad Mike Williams, the clear #2 receiver. Mike Williams is the definition of a boom or bust and I expect him to boom in a big way. In his past six games he has seen less than five targets only once. I am not saying 5 is a lot (although my lady might), but for a guy like him it only takes one and he is going to get more than just that one.

TE:

Robert Tonyan- Tonyan is quickly turning into the tight end on the Packers we have all been looking for since Jermichael Finley. He has caught five balls and a touchdown each of his last two games. Going up against the Eagles I don’t see that changing. The Eagles have been pretty solid against tight ends, aside from the top tier tight ends. I have a feeling this could be Tonyan’s coming out party and at his prices and the current landscape of tight ends, a touchdown will leave you smiling.
